Tom began working around the family real estate office as a teenager, doing any odd job that did not require a real estate license–hanging for-sale signs and learning the family business on a day to day basis. He was licensed by the State Of Michigan in 1967, the year he turned 18 and continued to work for the family until 1980, when he opened his own firm with his Wife, Helen, who was also a realtor. Tom and Helen remained with that firm in a management capacity until they joined Real Estate One in 2005. Sadly, Helen passed away in 2016 and Tom and Kelly continue to run the family business.
Tom served as Past President of the Macomb County Board of Realtors; Past Chairman of the Michigan Association of Realtors, Ethics and Arbitration Committee; and has been featured in HOUR MAGAZINE, DETROIT BUSINESS, and DETROIT HOME. Tom also hosted the live syndicated radio show, “Ask the Realtor,” answering buyers and sellers questions for over 10 years.
Kelly-Roncelli Valenza obtained her real estate license in 2015 becoming the 4th generation of the family realty business. Prior to that, Kelly had been working on the clerical and administration side of the business for over 10 years. Kelly has learned from the wisdom and experience of her parents for over 40 years. She can help you through any situation or transaction, all with a warm and friendly manner.
